President Philip Manuel is focused on building a flexible, forward-looking organization that supports the commercial audiovisual integration community. His keen knowledge of the industry developed over 32 years serving in the roles of sales, sales management, division director, regional director, vice president, and owner gives Philip a solid understanding of every aspect of systems integration operations on a regional and national level.
Philip’s project experience includes command and control, enterprise wide video conferencing deployment, secure and non-secure military applications, banking, legal, higher education, medical, and other markets. Some unique projects include the design build of the Atlanta Project for former President Jimmy Carter and the design build of Ted Turner’s boardroom at the CNN Center in Atlanta. Other successful projects involved consultation and direct project management for a $1.1 million secure/non-secure video conferencing and command center for the U.S. Air Force at Al Udid Air Force Base, Qatar, and the design, sale, and project management of a $6.2 million studio, digital signage, and distribution system for The E*Trade Center in New York City.
Leading and growing successful divisions, offices, and regions for a wide range of industry-leading national systems integration companies is a hallmark of Philip’s career. After joining Audio Visual Innovations as regional director Philip grew this business unit from less than $1 million to over $12 million in revenue and expanded into four additional states. He consistently met and exceeded revenue and EBITA goals. He also experienced continued success in his leadership roles with Providea Conferencing, MCSi, AVI, and Technical Industries, Inc.
Philip first achieved his ICIA Certified Technology Specialist certification in 1993. He holds certificates in AV systems design, lighting design, and audio systems design and served as a continuing education trainer for The American Institute of Architects.
